Architectural Standards (last revised July 2015)

The Architectural Review Board (ARB) is charged with preserving the exterior appearance of Burke Centre. This is accomplished by reviewing requests for all exterior modifications within Burke Centre, both private homeowners and commercial properties. An exterior change can mean anything from a simple trim color change to construction of a major addition or swimming pool.

To assist residents in their application for exterior changes, the Architectural Standards (last revised July 2015) was developed to describe a variety of frequently requested modifications and alterations, and provide guidance on the type of information necessary to review the application. The ARB also deals with maintenance issues such as painting, repairs, and the general upkeep of Burke Centre properties.

Please be sure to check here for the latest updates before proceeding with exterior changes to your property. You may also contact the Conservancy staff who will be happy to work through the application process with you.
